During a recent appearance on Ariel Helwani’s renowned broadcast, current holder of the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, GUNTHER, shared some exciting news. He enthused about a new contract he had just signed with WWE and expressed his admiration for the transformative role Triple H has played in character development in professional wrestling.
GUNTHER did not shy away from praising WWE’s Chief Creative Officer, Paul “Triple H” Levesque. He hailed him as the savior of professional wrestling, redefining the narrative of the sport and propelling many others alongside him to new heights.
GUNTHER shared some compelling details from his talk with Ariel on his show. The highlights of the conversation are included below:
When asked about his fresh agreement with WWE and his recent ability to afford a tour bus, GUNTHER said, “I have indeed inked a new contract, and part of that deal included securing a tour bus. Arguably, you only get what you ask for!”
Offering more details about the timing of his latest contract, GUNTHER revealed, “It happened towards the close of last year.”
In a heartfelt tribute to his boss, Triple H, GUNTHER commented, “In many ways, I am fortunate to have him as my boss and am thriving within the company under his leadership. He, to a large degree, has been critical to the transformation of the professional wrestling space. I recall joining in 2005 when getting into WWE was enigmatic, especially for us Europeans. Triple H made a significant contribution by introducing WWE to international talents, creating multifarious opportunities that didn’t exist before.”
He continued, “Triple H has ushered in a new era in wrestling, even beyond WWE. In my opinion, the transition has been overwhelmingly positive. It was a remarkable accomplishment. The industry has seen a substantial shift towards the better since then. Currently, it’s seeing its best times. Everything began to fall into place when he launched NXT and began co-working more closely with guys from the indies. All through, I have enjoyed a great rapport with Triple H.”
