GUNTHER Reveals When He Found Out About His Royal Rumble Plans

WWE Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER recently appeared on the “My Love Letter to Wrestling” to discuss a variety of topics, including when he found out about the plans for him at the 2023 Royal Rumble pay-per-view.

GUNTHER entered the match at #1 and made it almost to the end. He wound up being eliminated by Cody Rhodes.

GUNTHER said, “I got the heads up the day or two that I might be busy that day, but then I found out on the day. I wasn’t even focused on the time, like how much time am I going to spend there. I was busy with having all my stuff down, more or less.”

Rhea Ripley recently noted that she didn’t find out her Royal Rumble plans until just a few days beforehand.
