Gunther Reaches Another Milestone As WWE Intercontinental Champion

Gunther’s reign as WWE Intercontinental Champion is showing no signs of slowing down after the Austrian surpassed another milestone this week.

The Imperium leader captured the title from Ricochet in June of last year and has since become the longest-reigning champion of the 21st Century.

Taking to Twitter, Gunther revealed that he has now surpassed 300 days with the title.

For Gunther to surpass the Honky Tonk Man and capture the record for the longest Intercontinental Title reign, he will need to keep the gold until September 7, 2023.
