Gunther Names Which Female Superstars He’d Recruit To Imperium

WWE Intercontinental Champion Gunther isn’t interested in expanding Imperium at this time but knows which Superstars he’d bring in if needed.

It was at Clash at the Castle last September that Imperium reunited in full after Giovanni Vinci was called up to the main roster to join Gunther and Ludwig Kaiser.

Speaking with “Wrestle Binge,” Gunther was asked about which Superstars he’d recruit to the faction. He said,

“I think now we’re good how we are, but I think if we had to choose someone it would be either IYO [SKY] or Charlotte [Flair] I would think.”

In the same interview, Gunther spoke about Imperium’s future and said that Giovanni Vinci’s future with the group is to be determined following a series of losses.

Gunther will compete at Summerslam on August 5, where he will defend the Intercontinental Championship against Drew McIntyre.

Charlotte Flair will be part of the triple-threat title match between herself, Bianca Belair, and WWE Women’s Universal Champion Asuka.
