When asked why he has e been less visible on WWE television recently, GUNTHER states, “makes sense,” explaining it’s due to the tactics and strategy involved in the game.
In a recent episode of the “Gorilla Position” podcast, GUNTHER shared his thoughts about his recent absence from the ring. He revealed,
“Generally speaking, I’m a proponent of less is more. I consider it a principle pertinent to most situations in life. Presently, this fits perfectly. After clinching the King of the Ring, it was certain that I’d be vying for the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam.”
Moving ahead, he highlighted, “Frankly speaking, there was no real urgency to be that much active before Money in the Bank. I had the privilege of lying low for a couple of weeks, following the happenings and observing the whirlwind of drama that ensued with the Judgment Day, Seth’s return, and all the turmoil with Punk and Drew. It was intriguing to witness, I admit, and it brought me pleasure.”
The anticipated match of GUNTHER against Damian Priest for the coveted World Heavyweight Championship is set to occur at the WWE SummerSlam 2024 pay-per-view event.
