World Heavyweight Champion, GUNTHER, successfully retained his title against Finn Balor and Damian Priest during a blockbuster Triple Threat Match at the WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event XXXVII.
Throughout the battle, each of the trio of Superstars had their moment of real opportunity. However, it was GUNTHER who disrupted Priest’s ultimate pinfall attempt, holding onto his victory.
In strategic moves, the Ring General flat out slammed Priest onto the unforgiving steel steps with a merciless powerbomb. Similarly, Balor found himself on the receiving end of another ruthless powerbomb from GUNTHER, therefore, solidifying his win.
Having claimed his title at SummerSlam 2024, GUNTHER has now marked a 128-day reign as the World Heavyweight Champion.
