GUNTHER Comments On Making History At The WWE Royal Rumble

Cody Rhodes won the 2023 Men’s Royal Rumble match on Saturday night in San Antonio, TX. Rhodes got in the match at # 30 and got rid of GUNTHER to win the yearly over-the-top-rope extravaganza.

While GUNTHER stopped working to win the Royal Rumble match, his worthy efforts didn’t enter vain. The Ring General got in the match at # 1 and ended up being the supreme Iron Man, lasting longer than any Superstar in the history of a standard Royal Rumble match. He connected Rhodes for the most removals in the match (5) and lasted in the ring for 71 minutes. GUNTHER exceeded the 17-year-old record set by Rey Mysterio’s 62-minute match-winning efficiency throughout the 2006 Royal Rumble.

In a post-match backstage interview, GUNTHER resolved his record-breaking efficiency in the Men’s Rumble match. The ruling WWE Intercontinental Champion stated,
