Great-O-Khan Turned Down Tony Khan’s AEW Offer

Speaking with Tokyo Sports, NJPW star Great-O-Khan revealed that he had an offer from Tony Khan to sign with AEW, but he rejected the proposal in order to focus on his NJPW invasion.

Great-O-Khan also noted that Aussie Open signed with AEW in order to expand United Empire. He said,

“It was on my orders that Aussie Open (Mark Davis & Kyle Fletcher) went to AEW to expand the empire’s territory…as planned. I also got a big offer from (AEW president) Tony Kahn, and MJF asked me to fight for him, but I turned it down and prioritized the invasion of New Japan.”

Great-O-Khan also wrestles for NJPW’s United Kingdom based partner promotion Revolution Pro Wrestling (RevPro), where he is the current British Heavyweight Champion in his first reign.
