WWE Bad Blood 2024 turned out to be quite the battlefield. Bill Goldberg, WWE Hall of Famer, registered a firm warning to GUNTHER, cautioning him against any future negative remarks. The warning was triggered by a confrontational stint at the event, in which GUNTHER recanted recent comments endorsing Goldberg, proceeding to dub the WCW luminary nothing more than a “one-trick pony.”

This provocative comment led to Goldberg’s urgent demand to brawl with the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion, GUNTHER. The brawl eventually resulted in an unsolicited intervention from Sami Zayn.

Elucidating on this combative encounter, Goldberg brought up the issue on his latest “Car Cast” podcast. While speaking of his visit to the event in Atlanta with his family, Goldberg voiced his objections to GUNTHER’s comments. He shared that he and his family were enjoying the pay-per-view event, only to experience an unpleasant confrontation with the champion.

Goldberg unambiguously stated, “I am not the type of person who would sit silently allowing someone to demean me. Circumstances, locations or situations don’t make a difference; I would have reacted similarly anywhere and anyhow.”

Goldberg further expounded on the incident reiterating, “The earlier fun evening soon turned sour. I’m not done yet. As long as I’m still here, everyone should be careful about what they say about me, especially my family. Gage’s (Goldberg’s son) name getting dragged into the conversation was the breaking point for me. The issue ends here, nothing more to discuss.”

There are whispers in the wrestling community about an impending showdown between Goldberg and GUNTHER in the form of a future pay-per-view event; However, official confirmation is still unforthcoming.

Goldberg, who has not competed in a WWE match in over two years, has stated previously his desire to have a retirement match before he officially hangs up his boots.
