Goldberg Teams Up With Texas Restaurant To Feed Veterans

Occasional WWE Champion and real-life superhero Bill Goldberg flexed his heroic muscles over the weekend in celebration of Veteran’s Day. The WCW icon teamed up with local Texas eating establishment Compadres for a meet up that included a feast of TexMex BBQ for veterans and their families.
Local news KSAT in Texas were at the event, speaking with Goldberg about how he’s just an actor and in-ring competitor, and how much he appreciates the men and women that protect freedom in the United States. Boerne, Texas is like a second home to Goldberg (he gets all his mail shipped there!) and he makes a point to return every year for the holiday to give back to the troops. Reporter Jen Tobias-Struski also speaks with Compadres owner Chef Mark Sierra about the event and how his business has grown over the years.
