Former WWE NXT Superstar, Duke Hudson, who parted ways with the organization in January, has unveiled his new identity for the independent wrestling scene. Moving forward, fans can look forward to seeing him perform under the name Duke Hanson.
In a recent post on Twitter, Duke indicated this new phase of his career by sharing “Duke Hanson 2K25″.
Apart from Duke Hudson’s new ventures, another wrestling gem, Glenn Jacobs, known for his character Kane, shared his thoughts about his famed WWE identity on “The Ricky Cobb Show”. According to him, the original masked Kane holds a special place as it added an element of mystique and intrigue, making it one of the most exceptional characters in WWE’s chronicle.
In his words, “The mask added a level of mystique and mystery to the character that still makes it, in my opinion, one of the most unique in WWE history. When folks ask me what’s my favorite Kane, it’s the original Kane.”
However, Jacobs admits that, over time, he felt a quest for more challenges and opportunities, especially in relation to cutting more promos. He believed the mask was somewhat restricting his capacity as a performer.
