Japanese wrestling star, Giulia has officially completed her professional stint in Japan and her association with Marigold, with rumors indicating she’s headed for WWE.
During an intense gauntlet match, Giulia went up against the entire team of Marigold wrestlers. Each contender was allotted 60 seconds to compete against the acclaimed sportswoman.
Following the conclusion of the match, the Marigold roster joined Giulia in the ring to honor her contributions to the team. Rossy Ogawa, the founder of Marigold, marked the occasion by presenting her with flowers.
Giulia took the moment to discuss her career and express her fondness for Marigold Wrestling. She then made her exit through a path formed by the remaining members of the team.
Rumors have been circulating suggesting Giulia is leaving Marigold with the intention of joining WWE. The Japanese sportswoman was seen at NXT Stand & Deliver in April this year.
Speculations are ripe that Giulia is scheduled to make her WWE NXT debut at the forthcoming No Mercy event. This event is slated to happen on the first of September in Denver, Colorado.
A tweet confirming Giulia’s departure from Marigold and her journey towards WWE was shared online.
“Giulia’s Marigold run is now officially over & she’s heading to WWE. She just bid farewell to the fans and team! Thank you, Giulia ❤” tweeted Dark Puroresu Flowsion (@PuroresuFlow) on August 25, 2024.
