NXT TV has been devoid of Gigi Dolin’s presence for several weeks, leading to speculation about her whereabouts. Fightful Select’s latest report, however, provides enlightenment on this subject and reveals that Dolin is currently nursing an injury.
The narrative thread featuring Dolin and Arianna Grace had been unexpectedly severed, causing Dolin’s absence from backstage during the television recordings. Dolin, a one-time member of Toxic Attraction, is laid up due to a severe knee injury.
As part of the storyline, Dolin used to make frequent appearances on NXT TV and was often seen under the tutelage of Grace, striving to polish her persona as a typical “proper lady.”
The report highlights that there were conversations earlier this year about possibly promoting Dolin to the mainline roster.
Recently, Dolin hasn’t been seen backstage during any of the shows, and the majority of her scenes with Grace were shot away from the WWE Performance Center. These segments were conscientiously planned to ensure Dolin’s continued presence on TV while she recovers from her injury.
In her most recent bout, Dolin faced Grace in an NXT episode that aired on March 12th.
