The NWA now has it own holiday, at least in the state of Georgia.

NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis has announced that on the NWA’s behalf, he accepted the Senate Resolution that officially recognized October 21 as “NWA Day” in Georgia.

It was an honor to receive, on behalf of the @nwa, the Senate Resolution declaring Oct 21 "NWA day" in the great state of Georgia. @GovKemp and Senator Mullis were very welcoming and proud of the historic and continued relationship between the state and the NWA. #nwapowerrr pic.twitter.com/3yTeoSWHAZ

The NWA has a long history with Georgia, both in the company’s prestigious past and in its recent revival. “NWA Powerrr” was previously filmed in the state’s capital, Atlanta, at GPB Studios.

On Sunday, March 21, the NWA will return to pay-per-view for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic started with “Back For The Attack.” Aldis will defend his title against Aron Stevens at the show.
