Gene Snitsky Discusses His Working Relationship With Chris Benoit?

Former WWE superstar Gene Snitsky recently sat down with The Hannibal TV, where they discussed a handful of topics. During the talk, Snitsky discussed his working relationship with Chris Benoit, and how the two interacted during the later part of Benoit’s career.
When asked about Benoit and if Snitsky could tell if anything was wrong with him, Snitsky said no, and that everything seemed fine. “No, Chris was great, man,” he said. “I had some of my best matches with Chris, to be honest with you. When we were doing that little ECW thing with WWE, him and I had a long stretch where we wrestling on house shows, wrestling on TV, and like I said, some of my best matches were with him.”
Snitsky went on to say that he was extremely proud of the matches that he put together with Benoit, and also noted that he believes there was more to his story. “Honestly, to this day, I still think there’s more to it then what meets the eye,” he said. “Because I knew Chris personally, and never in a million years would I have thought that would have happened, but you never know. Obviously something happened, and I’m not an investigator by any means, or a criminologist but it’s very out of character if you ask me, someone who knew him personally and saw him every day, it’s nothing I would have ever expected happening.”
