Veteran wrestler, Sabu, has his sights set on sculpting his physique ahead of his farewell match after a flourishing wrestling career.
On a fresh episode of the podcast “Conversations with The Wrestling Classic”, Sabu revealed that GameChanger Wrestling (GCW) is interested to host his swan song match in January 2025. Be that as it may, his preference is for All Elite Wrestling (AEW) to host his final showdown. He articulated,
“My objective is to keep up with my fitness regimen until my final match, which I know is not happening immediately. GCW is eager to host my farewell match in January. However, I’m unsure if I’ll be prepared by then. I do not wish to have my final match in January. My preference would be for it to take place in July, and ideally in Las Vegas.”
Further speaking, he said, “I’m intending to have my retirement match sooner or later, but I am not physically fit for it yet. I’m dealing with significant discomfort, however, I am hopeful that my pain will subside. It’s highly likely. I would probably prefer to have my send-off with [AEW] as they can offer a larger platform and a sizeable payday.”
