Gauntlet Eliminator Match Added To NXT TakeOver Night 1, Winner Gets NA Title Shot
Next week’s NXT is going to feature a big match, as William Regal announced tonight that a 12-man Battle Royal will take place to determine who moves on to a Gauntlet Eliminator match at NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver.
During next week’s episode of NXT, a 12-man Battle Royal (featuring Dexter Lumis, Bronson Reed, Leon Ruff, Jake Atlas Roderick Strong, Isaiah Scott, Austin Theory, LA Knight, KUSHIDA, Tyler Rust, Pete Dunne, Cameron Grimes) will take place. During that match, the last six wrestlers remaining getting placed into a Gauntlet Eliminator match that will take place during the first night of NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver.
On the first night of the TakeOver, the winner of the Gauntlet Eliminator will be crowned, and will then be given the opportunity to face off against Johnny Gargano for the NXT North American Championship the next night. With a crowded field of 12 superstars all dying to get a shot at Gargano, expect a chaotic Battle Royal followed by an even more chaotic Gauntlet Eliminator at TakeOver.
