In a recent episode of “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Gangrel looked back at his surprise presence at AEW Double Or Nothing 2024, where he shared a much-awaited reunion with his previous Brood stablemate, Adam Copeland, better known as Edge.

Sharing his feelings about the reunion, Gangrel described it as an overwhelming emotional encounter. In his words,

“I think [Adam and I] were both tearing up. It was a fantastic moment. It felt magical.”

Apart from celebrating the reunion on stage, Gangrel also shared a candid moment with Copeland and their fellow wrestler, Christian Cage, backstage. He said,

“[It’s been a while since we’ve been in the same location] since that WrestleMania [32] held in Dallas… could be 6-7 years ago. I can’t exactly recall which WrestleMania it was.”

At the said event, Copeland triumphed over Malakai Black in the Barb Wire Steel Cage Match, retaining the TNT Title. However, Edge suffered a leg fracture in the match, which required surgical intervention. As a result, he has had to withdraw from in-ring competition for an unknown period.
