Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias had a unique brush with WWE stardom, sharing a ring with Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso at a Saturday Night Main Event in January. The comedian talked about his unforgettable experience during a podcast appearance on “BigBoyTV” recently.
The legendary Gabriel Iglesias recalled, “That was so cool. I attended the Saturday Night’s Main Event in San Antonio. Once the live broadcasting wrapped up, Cody and Jey were in the ring, engaging with the fans. They usually put on a little extra show once the cameras are off, just for the people in attendance. Cameras were flashing everywhere when Cody Rhodes announced ‘we have a special guest tonight’, and then pointed at me, saying ‘we got Fluffy right here.’ I couldn’t believe it and joined them in the ring.”
Gabriel elaborated on his experience, narrating “I was just behind the announce desk. I hoisted myself over the wall, which was not an easy feat, by the way. It was not as low as it looked from afar. Once I climbed over, I jumped into the ring and joined the guys. We chatted casually on the mic. It felt like I was living someone’s Make A Wish moment.”
