Gable Steveson has decided his future, and it’s a match at NXT Great American Bash.
On Tuesday’s edition of WWE NXT, Steveson analyzed his options, introduced himself and his accolades, then stated that he could go to the 2024 Olympics, go back to college and become a three-time champion, or continue in NXT.
Baron Corbin interrupted the promo and told Gable to go back to college or represent the United States at the Olympics.
Corbin warned Steveson to stay away from NXT because he would then have to make Steveson taste something he’s never done or experienced before i.e. fail.
The back and forth caused Steveson to declare that his decision had never been easier. The young talent challenged Corbin to a match at the Great American Bash and then suplexed the former Money In The Bank winner out of the ring.
Corbin accepted Steveson’s challenge while being held back by officials.

Dominik Mysterio defeated Wes Lee to win the NXT North American Championship on last week’s episode of WWE NXT, and Lee recently addressed his loss on the “Under the Ring” podcast.
You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:
On Dominik’s growth: “For him to be able to grow the way that he did is amazing. To be in the crucible that he was under, the stress, the pressure, he’s lived up to it. He has not faltered, he has continued to push on and just like any other person that starts out as something, they’re gonna make mistakes, they’re gonna slip up and they’re going to have shortcomings in regards to how they’re gonna get to their end goal.”
On Dom’s title win: “Right now, his end goal is that he’s become a champion. It just so happened to be with the help of the entire Judgment Day, but he’s still champion. I have to tip my hat to him because he is carrying the championship right now. Am I happy about it? No. But, I gotta give him his credit. I gotta give him his kudos because he was able to grow to a point that he was able to take my championship from me.”
