During his recent guest stint on the wrestling-themed podcast “The Wrestle Era”, wrestler Zilla Fatu shared his thoughts on WWE’s latest ID program. He expressed,
“My thought process is, I think it’s great. Not just for me, but for indie wrestlers because it offers an easy route to get noticed. We, wrestlers, need exposure and a lot of it. To describe WWE ID, it acts like a scouting team. If you happen to be a prospect, it’s akin to a college scout. They visit local high schools, conduct informative sessions where you can learn from them directly, even do personal training. So, I perceive it as a valuable platform for all wrestlers.”
In another interview, Gable Steveson went back to his WrestleMania 38 experience where he suplexed his fellow wrestler Chad Gable. Discussing the unforgettable moment with Ariel Helwani, he mentioned,
“No, I look back at, ‘That’s an incredible snapshot.’ I attended a WrestleMania, and I created a WrestleMania moment. So many pro wrestling enthusiasts have never experienced a WrestleMania moment and earnestly hope they do, but I’ve already lived that moment, which is quite amazing. Thanks to Chad Gable for being a part of that memory. I harbour no issues. If the same opportunity arises again, that would be fantastic. But even if it doesn’t, life rolls on.”
