Gabe Kidd is set to join GCW ‘The Collective’ during the WrestleMania 41 week, taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada. Kidd will be taking part in Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XIII on April 17. The same day, he will also be facing Mance Warner in a match at Joey Janela’s Spring Break 9. He’s known for his training at the NJPW US dojo under Shibata, and his robust, “Strong Style” wrestling tactics.
Major League Wrestling has also confirmed a bout between Janai Kai and HIMAWARI. The fight will take place at MLW Battle Riot VII on April 5, located in Los Angeles, California. Newly announced MLW recruit, HIMAWARI will make her debut against the imposing Janai Kai, who is a part of CONTRA Unit. HIMAWARI, a former Japanese actress turned wrestler, is known for her charisma and unorthodox fighting style using her long hair. Meanwhile, Kai has made her name in the league as a formidable and aggressive striker.
The two vastly different styles of these women will clash in what is shaping to be an intensely anticipated match. Fans will be eager to see if HIMAWARI’s showy and entertaining style can overcome Kai’s brutal martial arts techniques.
Lastly, another significant event lined up for the WrestleMania 41 week is the Scramble Cage Match at Joey Janela’s Cluster Forever show, which is scheduled for April 19.
