Drew Gulak is reportedly back to coaching Daniel Bryan. It was reported yesterday by Fightful Select that Gulak was in attendance for the SmackDown tapings this week and an interesting tidbit was followed up by Dave Meltzer on the “Wrestling Observer Radio” this morning.
According to Dave Meltzer’s sources, when Drew Gulak was briefly and legitimately a free agent, there were people that tried to book him for future dates. When people did try to contact him, the way Gulak reacted, they knew he was going to be headed somewhere because he was not interested in anything tossed to him. The assumption was WWE or AEW and sure enough, Gulak was headed to the blue brand of SmackDown.
Fans first caught wind of Gulak’s return back to the company because of the simple fact that he was added back to the SmackDown roster page on the WWE website after he spent the past couple weeks residing in their alumni section.
