Fueled By WWE Draft, SmackDown Viewership And Demographic Rating Rise On 10/1

WWE Friday Night Smackdown Results

Fueled by fan interest in the WWE Draft, WWE SmackDown viewership increased on October 1.

According to Brandon Thurston, 2.25 million viewers watched the show on Friday, and the show drew a 0.62 rating (809,000 viewers ) in the 18 to 49 demographic. Both of these numbers are up from the September 24 episode; last week, 2.135 million viewers watched the show, which scored a 0.55 rating in the same demographic.

Thurston notes that SmackDown was the top show on cable in this demographic on October 1.

WWE Smackdown last week Friday on Fox was watched by 2,252,000 viewers. 809,000 were aged 18 to 49 (0.62 rating).

AEW Rampage on TNT was watched by 622,000 viewers, including 330,000 in 18 to 49 (0.25 rating).

The October 1 episode marked the first night of the WWE Draft; in the main event, Sasha Banks defeated Bianca Belair.
