FTR Retain AEW World Tag Team Titles Against Jeff Jarrett & Jay Lethal At AEW Double Or Nothing
Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler successfully defended the AEW World Tag Team Championships against Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal at the Double Or Nothing 2023 pay-per-view event.
FTR defeated Jarrett and Lethal in a match that was overseen by the special guest referee and ROH Hall of Famer Mark Briscoe.
Briscoe was accidentally knocked out by Jarrett after ejecting Sonjay Dutt, and when Aubrey Edwards rushed to the ring to officiate the match, she was struck down with a guitar by Karen Jarrett.
The finish came when Briscoe angered Jarrett by not counting the pin following a low blow. Jarrett slapped Briscoe and got slapped right into FTR’s Shatter Machine for the pinfall.
FTR’s title reign currently stands at 54 days, having won the championships on the April 5th episode of Dynamite.
