Famed actor and wrestling aficionado, Freddie Prinze Jr., has once again shared insights about his wrestling league that is yet to be materialized.
In a recent episode of his podcast, “Wrestling With Freddie,”Prinze Jr., who previously wrote for WWE, shared up-to-date details surrounding his enterprise. He expressed,
“I’m a man with a TV deal who doesn’t have a promotion. How does this happen? How do I do everything backwards?”
Though at one juncture it seemed like Prinze Jr. was set to finalize an agreement, the deal unfortunately crumbled, largely due to monetary complications. He expressed,
“I’m gonna’ have to meet with new people once again. I’m gonna’ have to pitch myself to these promotions once again and earn their trust once again, but hopefully I’ll be able to do it.”
In 2022, Prinze Jr. declared his ambition to inaugurate his own wrestling league and in October of the same year, he revealed that he had extended an invitation to Bray Wyatt to come aboard.
Throughout this year, Prinze Jr. has had meetings with Warner Bros. Discovery and VICE, however, there hasn’t been any official announcement of a deal coming to fruition from either party.
