In a recent episode of the podcast “Busted Open Radio,” Frankie Kazarian, a well-known wrestler from TNA, shared his thoughts on his time with AEW. He conveyed his appreciation for having been a part of Tony Khan’s company from its inception and talked about the challenges he faced during his term.

Some of the main highlights from the podcast are presented below:

Regarding his involvement with AEW during its formative years, Kazarian shared, “I found myself in secret meetings at two A.M. in undisclosed hotel locations. It was just me, The Young Bucks, Cody, Chris Daniels, Scorpio Sky, Kenny [Omega], and Tony Khan. We were discussing what was eventually going to turn into AEW.”

Kazarian also expressed a few issues he faced within the organization, saying, “Things seemed a bit disorderly, with inmates running the asylum, not much proper guidance. I also felt there was somewhat of a lack of foresight. They had some stories planned – ‘We’re going to implement this, this, and this.’ But there wasn’t much clarity on what the next steps would be after that. This seemed to be a recurring issue.”
