All Elite Wrestling (AEW) has confirmed the departure of Jimmy Jacobs from their team.
In 2023, Jacobs took up the role of a producer at AEW, after previously working with WWE and TNA Wrestling.
Jacobs ended his tenure with WWE after posting a photo with The Elite members while the episode of “Being The Elite” was being filmed adjacent to a WWE event.
During his association with AEW, Jacobs had the opportunity to participate in several matches for ROH, a wrestling platform where he previously showcased his skills. His latest match took place in May, where he was outwrestled by Satnam Singh.
According to Fightful, in the week just gone, Jacobs made the decision to step back from AEW, citing feelings of exhaustion.
This departure provides AEW with the chance to inject some fresh thinking into their writing team.
