Former WWE superstar and Wrestling Society X member Ryan Keji Sakoda passed away earlier this month at the age of 46, according to a report from PWInsider.com.

Sakoda was born in Tokyo, Japan, before making his way to California where he quickly began a football career at Glen A. Wilson High School. Shortly after, the superstar then began to train for the world of professional wrestling under Billy Anderson and Jesse Hernandez. The superstar then joined Rick Bassman’s UPW show, where he wrestled against many famous superstars, including THe Prototype (John Cena), Samoa Joe, Frankie Kazarian, and more as Keji Sakoda.

In the world of WWE, Sakoda had a short run on the main roster, where he was paired with Akia and Yoshihiro Taiji. The duo would have regular clashes with the likes of The Dudley Boyz, Rikishi & Scotty 2 Hotty, and other superstar teams of the time.
