Former WWE Referee Jimmy Korderas On Seth Rollins vs. Omos At Backlash 2023

The upcoming, seemingly out-of-nowhere, match between Seth Rollins and Omos at Backlash on May 6 was the subject of a recent edition of former WWE official Jimmy Korderas’ Reffin Rant series on Twitter.

Korderas opined that the bout in Puerto Rico has had very little buildup and feels like it was thrown together with no motivation.

Korderas said, “With no setup, no nothing, it just felt like a random ‘Here’s a match for ya — take it or leave it.’ That’s how it felt to me. There was no reason. What they could have done a little interaction on Monday night or something like that and then … have Adam Pearce come out and say ‘You two guys can settle this at Backlash,’ or something like that.”
