If you miss the sounds of Tom Hannifan (Tom Phillips) on WWE RAW, he’s starting up a new sports podcast you might be interested in.

The former WWE commentator will continue his career in broadcasting as he debuts a Penn State-centric show called the Paydirt podcast on Monday, August 9, on the Bleav Podcast Network. His co-host will be former NFL, XFL, and Penn State quarterback Matt McGloin.

Hannifan’s podcast will run 52 weeks a year as the duo will tackle all things Penn State and Big Ten football. This will certainly be a must-listen for fans of the Nittany Lions.

In June, Tom Hannifan was released by WWE after spending almost nine years with the company and commentating for every brand throughout his tenure. His release came as a surprise to the WWE Universe as the company was having trouble at the time filling the lead seat on the RAW broadcast team that is now occupied by former UFC and Bellator commentator Jimmy Smith.
