Wrestling fans have been hoping that UFC legend Chuck Liddell would make an attempt at in-ring work for some time, and perhaps now the time is coming.
Speaking to TMZ earlier Tuesday, Liddell confirmed that he was “officially retired” from the world of fighting. When asked if there was a chance that he’d be interested in getting into the WWE ring, Liddell said he was. “Oh of course, I’d still do WWE, I’d still do pro wrestling, that would be a lot of fun.” he said.
Liddell said that while his dream matchup with The Rock might not be feasible, he’d still be interested in having a conversation with the company. If Liddell were to entertain discussions with the company, he wouldn’t be the first, as Tito Ortiz also has been training at the WWE Performance Center lately.
