Former ROH World Champion RUSH Undergoes Emergency Surgery

Former Ring of Honor World Champion RUSH had emergency surgery after he suffered an injury at ROH Glory By Honor Night Two, where he teamed up with Dragon Lee and defeated Bandido & Rey Horus.
La Tijera Lucha Libre shared the news on Twitter along with an image of RUSH in the hospital. In the tweet, La Tijera Lucha Libre stated that RUSH’s family provided the image after the surgery; RUSH’s family will share more information at a press conference next Thursday.
Via a translation service, the tweet is as follows:
“@rushtoroblanco he has undergone emergency and his family sends us this image, likewise, the #DinastiaMunoz will give a conference next Thursday at noon to talk about the surgery and his future.”

Earlier this week, RUSH was pulled from the ROH Death Before Dishonor card; he was scheduled to challenge for the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship alongside Kenny King and Dragon Lee, but La Bestia del Ring will take RUSH’s place in this bout.
RUSH previously had knee surgery this past May.
Update: in a tweet, RUSH’s wife made it clear that the family will share some news in the press conference.
The tweet, via a translation service, is as follows:
“This short message is to thank my husband RUSH for showing his affection and good wishes after his operation. Next Thursday, in the press conference that we are going to offer, we will give you more details about his state of health and we will reveal some news.”
