We’re another day closer to the much-anticipated WWE SummerSlam 2024, and it’s time for the latest eWrestlingNews Question of the Day! The countdown pre-show starts at 4 p.m. ET today, and the main event begins at 7 p.m. Now’s the ideal time to make some predictions.

So, let’s play fortune teller: “What are your predictions for every match at WWE SummerSlam 2024?”

We welcome your responses in the comments section below.

Now, for my own predictions…

Firstly, it’s quite clear to me that Bron Breakker must defeat Sami Zayn, claiming the Intercontinental Championship. In my opinion, Bron’s victory should have already happened at Money in the Bank. Another loss for him at this stage would indicate that WWE may not have faith in him, which I find hard to believe.

In the same vein, I’m confident LA Knight should and will defeat Logan Paul, irrespective of the Olympics controversy. After more than a year without a win, despite his popularity, Knight needs a championship. Fans are getting restless. The longer WWE shies away from giving LA Knight a win, the lesser the faith fans will have in him. Paul has had his time. Knight needs to prove he’s more than just words.

As for the match between Bayley and Nia Jax, I’m sitting on the fence, especially with Tiffany Stratton also in contention for the WWE Women’s Championship. However, my gut tells me Jax is most likely to come out on top. Bayley’s tenure hasn’t been particularly exciting, and it feels like she’s taken a back seat. Though Jax may not bring anything groundbreaking as the champ, she’s a better candidate to transit the title to someone like Charlotte Flair in due course.

On the other hand, I don’t expect to see Rhea Ripley defeating Liv Morgan. There’s a higher probability that Liv retains the title, and only one way I see Ripley taking it. One scenario can be Dominik Mysterio turning on Ripley or Finn Balor siding with Liv. Either way, I presume Morgan will retain her title at least until Bash in Berlin or Bad Blood.

undoubtedly, the match between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre will witness a lot of drama, with Seth Rollins stepping in. Drawing parallels with the 1997 face-off between Bret Hart, Undertaker, and Shawn Michaels, I predict McIntyre will win. This victory will trigger the feud between Rollins and Punk.

I foresee Damian Priest losing the World Heavyweight Championship, with the title going to Gunther. WWE often adopts the ‘lose first, win second’ approach, and Gunther can enter Bash in Berlin as the reigning champion, ready to take on Priest or a new challenger.

Lastly, I strongly believe that Cody Rhodes will retain the WWE Championship in the headliner event. Solo Sikoa as champion feels improbable right now. With the presence of Roman Reigns and The Rock, Sikoa seemingly lacks proper setup for the title. The Bloodline Rules may make things more uncertain, but there could be a surprise element like Reigns siding with Cody.
