Forbidden Door II Crosses Major Attendance Milestone, Updated Ticket Numbers

The latest update from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reveals the ticket sale numbers for upcoming AEW events, including the highly anticipated Forbidden Door event co-presented with NJPW in Toronto. Currently, there are 13,143 tickets sold, with only a limited number of scattered single seats remaining. The event has already generated an impressive gate of 1.5 million Canadian dollars ($1.14 million US), making it the third-largest gate in AEW’s history. With the possibility of more seats becoming available, it has the potential to surpass previous records and become the largest gate in AEW history.

Additionally, this event marks the largest gate for a wrestling show in Canada in over two decades, surpassing the gate of WWE’s Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event earlier this year. It stands as the third-largest gate in Canadian wrestling history, following Wrestlemania VI and Wrestlemania X-8.

• Meanwhile, tomorrow night’s episode of AEW Collision in Toronto has 5,383 tickets out, a jump of over 3,000, with most Collision tapings having shown drastic improvement since last week’s premiere episode.

• AEW Collision in Hamilton, Ontario on June 29 (taped for July 1) has 1,703 tickets out.
• AEW Dynamite in Edmonton, Alberta on July 5 has 5,000 tickets out.
• AEW Collision in Regina, SK on July 8 has 1,379 tickets out.
• AEW Dynamite in Saskatoon, SK on July 12 has 2,385 tickets out.
• AEW Collision in Calgary, Alberta on July 15 has 3,596 tickets out.
• AEW Dynamite in Boston, MA on July 19 has 4,055 tickets out.
• ROH Death Before Dishonor in Trenton, NJ on July 21 has 1,529 tickets out.
• AEW Collision on July 22 in Newark, NJ has 4,501 tickets out.
• AEW Dynamite in Albany, NY on July 26 has 1,815 tickets out.
• AEW Dynamite in Tampa, FL on August 2 has 2,203 tickets out.
