The line-up for the highly anticipated AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door keeps growing, with yet another championship match included in the list.

In latest developments, another women’s title match has been confirmed for broadcast. The announcement followed shortly after the much touted title-for-title match was announced.

In a recent episode of AEW Dynamite, Saraya emerged victorious in a hard-fought battle against Mariah May. Post-match, the duo of Saraya and Harley Cameron concentrated their energies on attacking both Mariah May and “Timeless” Toni Storm. However, help arrived in the form of Mina Shirakawa who attempted to rescue Storm and May. Yet, the simmering tension between her and Storm, that had been brewing over the past several weeks, continued unabated. It’s anticipated to surge into a full-blown feud on June 30th when Shirakawa will face off against Storm for the prized AEW Women’s World Championship.

Shirakawa’s participation in the upcoming event amply demonstrates STARDOM’s collaboration with multiple wrestling entities, truly highlighting the fact that the Forbidden Door is essentially creating opportunities for not only New Japan Pro-Wrestling, but also several other wrestling federations.

HuThe Forbidden Door is all set to be unveiled on June 30, 2024 at the UBS Arena, sited in Elmont, New York. For live coverage updates of this spectacular event, stay tuned to eWrestlingNews in the next 3 weeks!
