For The First Responders Benefit Event To Stream On FITE On July 11th
Synergy Pro Wrestling and Wrestling News World have announced that they’ll be hosting an event on July 11th and all of the proceeds will go to the American Nurses Foundation Coronavirus Response Fund. In a press release, the companies revealed information about the event, including some of the matches that will take place:
- 30-minute Iron Man Match: Alex Zayne vs. Blake Christian
- Garden State Invitational Tournament Qualifier: J.D. Drake vs. Tony Deppen
- Garden State Invitational Tournament Qualifier: Jordan Oliver vs. LSG.
- Synergy’s Garden State Invitational Tournament is on July 25.
In the press release, Colin West, the owner of Synergy Pro Wrestling, discussed how and why the event came together:
“‘The selflessness of America’s nurses during the COVID-19 pandemic is remarkable,” said West. “‘When Tom [Fenton] at Wrestling News World approached me with this non-profit opportunity, we both felt we couldn’t say no.’
West further elaborated on the importance of the event:
“‘We’ve been blessed with the fan support and professional support to do some amazing things in the past,” West adds. “This is by far the best.'”
The event will be streamed live on FITE.tv, live at 7 p.m. EST at the price of $12.99.
