Following her triumph at WWE SummerSlam 2024, Nia Jax, the latest WWE Women’s Champion, reflected on her personal journey leading up to her historic title win.
Jax claimed her first individual WWE title since 2018 at the latest WWE pay-per-view. She emerged victorious against Bayley, who had been the reigning champion since WrestleMania 40.
Commenting on her remarkable victory during the media debriefing that followed WWE SummerSlam 2024, Jax shed light on the significance of becoming a champion again after a long interval of six years by saying,
“It does mean a lot. It was pretty incredible that Tiffy came out and shared the moment with me. My mother was there, my aunt was there. So it means a lot because it’s been quite the journey for me.”
