AEW Dynamite’s achievement of hitting 250 episodes is a source of pride for Chris Jericho, especially considering the doubters who believed the show wouldn’t even reach a tenth of that number.

Last week’s significant 250th episode of Dynamite featured a segment titled ‘TV Time’ hosted by Jericho, which included an unexpected appearance by Minoru Suzuki.

When recently invited to the “Creative Imbalance” podcast, Jericho tackled the topic of AEW’s key weekly event touching the landmark. His words were,

“Achieving this stage is satisfying indeed. There were many who predicted that we won’t make it beyond the tenth episode. Amidst all the grand successes we’ve encountered, people often overlook the fact that we’re only a half a decade old. We are a multi 0 million profitable business that is only five years old and has expanded significantly since then. There’s still a huge journey awaiting us. Reaching the 250-mark stands out, indeed. Also, the lucrative TV contract in the pipeline will indubitably shape the future of our company for the coming five to ten years.

“I am optimistic about the narrative. Much of the doubt about our existence or success can be put to rest now. The fact is, we are minting money and making headway in the business. And we are thoroughly enjoying it while also putting up top-tier shows multiple times every week. What more could be asked of us?

“It’s been an incredible journey to be a part of and witness, and to understand that all this is just the beginning.”

When AEW Dynamite premiered in October 2019, Jericho was a part of the first episode, where he, alongside Santana and Ortiz, triumphed over Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks.

The Learning Tree character and fans’ reactions were also discussed by Jericho on the podcast. More details can be found by clicking here.
