First Team Advances To Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Finals
Tonight’s episode of NXT saw the first women’s tag team advance to the finals of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. In a match between Dakota Kai & Raquel Gonzalez and Kacy Catanzaro & Kayden Carter, it was Kai & Gonzalez who advanced in a huge win.
The match came to an end after Dakota Kai saved the day and broke up a pin that would have ended things. Gonzalez – who was hit with a huge senton by Catanzaro – was able to get back up, and hit a huge one-armed powerbomb on her to end the match and give her team the win. Now, Kai & Gonzalez will await the winner of Ember Moon and Shotzi Blackheart vs. Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell to see who they’ll be battling against in the finals.
