Finn Balor Returns As ‘The Demon’ To Face Roman Reigns At WWE Extreme Rules

Finn Balor is back as The Demon. All sights on the 9/10 WWE SmackDown may have been on Brock Lesnar wanting a shot at Roman Reigns’ Universal Championship, but it was Balor who ended the show with a flourish. After Reigns helped The Usos retain their SmackDown Tag Titles against The Street Profits, Madison Squared Garden got a deep red as Balor re-introduced his classic “demon” persona to make it known that it’s his alter ego that will be facing The Tribal Chief at Extreme Rules. A decision was being awaited throughout the course of the episode as to if Roman Reigns would accept Brock Lesnar’s challenge, but it was Balor who ended everything on a high note.
