Tonight’s NXT was supposed to feature a match between Velveteen Dream and Finn Balor, but unfortunately, things went sideways. Prior to the start of the show, NXT informed fans on Twitter that an issue had occurred with Balor, and when cameras cut to his belongings, it looked as if things had been ransacked.

William Regal soon took to the mic to announce that Balor was missing, and would not be in any matches tonight. Dream then took to the ring, but Adam Cole quickly interrupted him, telling him that just because Balor wasn’t around, Dream wouldn’t automatically get a shot at any title. Then, the rest of the Undisputed Era attacked Dream from behind, taking him down to the ground in a brutal beatdown. Thankfully, Keith Lee came to the rescue, sliding in and helping Dream dispatch the rest of Undisputed Era.
