Finn Balor Defeats Tommaso Ciampa, Attacks Adam Cole

Tonight’s NXT closed out with a match between Finn Balor and Tommaso Ciampa, a duel that saw both superstars giving it their all to take each other down. As the crowd cheered on both superstars, Balor was able to come away with a victory over Ciampa, but not without thanks from Adam Cole, who he then turned on.
Late in the match, Cole was able to interfere with Ciampa, delivering a kick to his head which then allowed Balor to deliver a 1916 DDT to Ciampa for the win. Following the victory, Cole then joined Balor in the ring, where they both stood over Ciampa’s downed body. However, Balor then quickly turned the tables on Cole, delivering a stunning jumping kick to Cole to end the night.
