Dirty Dango just recently spoke with the Windy City Slam podcast about his agreement with Impact Wrestling, and how he ‘d like to pursue more severe angles with the promo.
The real-life Johnny Curtis debuted with Impact at the 2022 Bound For Glory pay-per-view occasion in Albany, NY, challenging for the Digital Media Championship. Dango verified that he’s signed a 1 year agreement with Impact.
You can take a look at some highlights from the podcast listed below:
Choosing to sign with Impact: “Everything in life and expert wrestling is cycle. When they were shooting at the Nashville Fairgrounds, I began my profession in IMPACT back in 2003. I’ve constantly had a working relationship with them for many years. A great deal of my buddies battle there; Brian Myers, (Matt) Cardona, Tommy Dreamer. I was a complimentary representative at the time, I got a call. Myers and myself are actually close, we turned up in developmental together. Albany is a fantastic crowd. It was type of a no-brainer.”
His objectives for his Impact run: “I’m a genuine huge fan of Josh Alexander. A few of the X-Division people, I’m a big fan of their work, I simply do not understand if I can stay up to date with them. Heath, Myers, men like that. In the past, I remained in more of a funny shtick wrestling with them. Now, I’m working a bit more of a severe design. My match with Myers in Albany, it felt excellent to go out there for 10 to 15 minutes and offer an excellent wrestling match and not need to do a total funny act. I do not have my eyes set on someone, simply show to management that I’m not a funny act. When the bell rings, I can go.”
