Faye Jackson is taking a final bow and stepping away from the squared circle.

Jackson posted the following statement, announcing her plans to retire after next week’s scheduled events in Tampa during WrestleMania weekend. Jackson also revealed she dislocated her elbow last weekend during a match, and the recovery time led to her decision to step away from the business.

I know I’ve been quiet the last few days so here’s an update. I dislocated my elbow in a match on Sunday that will take while [sic] to heal. So I have to pull out of all shows I was booked for Mania weekend. The Grey Sweatpants Battle Royal will still continue and I will be there. Please buy tickets, buy the stream and Support Real Hot Girl Shit! Support For The Culture! Support Ladies Night Out! Continue to donate to the boys and to Planned Parenthood!

I’ve told close friends and now I’m making it officially public. After Tampa I am stepping away from wrestling for good. I want to thank everyone that has ever been a fan of Faye Jackson. Y’all gave me inspiration to do something I never thought I could do. I hope somehow I made an impact on professional wrestling. Now it’s time for me to take a bow. So come party with me in Tampa and make lasting memories!

Jackson made her debut in 2014 and is known for her run with Ring Of Honor in their Women Of Honor division, as well as her appearances for GCW, WSU, Queens Of Combat and many other promotions.

One of the events Jackson was scheduled for, The Grey Sweatpants Battle Royal, was initially planned as an event at last year’s WrestleMania week, but it was cancelled due to the pandemic. This year the event returns in the form of a special attraction match at GCW and Allie Kat’s Real Hot Girl Shit. Proceeds from the event will be split, with half of the proceeds going to the event participants while the other half will be donated to Planned Parenthood.

It’s a wholesome event 😈 https://t.co/nt3eAZ0EBR
