Exclusive Update On Dominic DeNucci’s Current Health After Being Hospitalized
It was reported yesterday that wrestling legend Dominic DeNucci was hospitalized after suffering an unknown health scare and now we have more information on his current situation.
WrestleZone has learned that the 88-year-old DeNucci is currently going through a cardiac catheterization. It was noted that DeNucci has a stent placed in his artery and they will be adjusting some medication that he receives, and it will take a few months to see how he will adjust.
Last night, Bobby Fulton took to Twitter and announced that DeNucci is in the hospital, but didn’t provide any other details at the time.
The former two-time WWE Tag Team Champion DeNucci has trained several established talents which include WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley, Shane Douglas, Cody Michaels and the late Brian Hildebrand (aka WCW official Mark Curtis). Due to his influence on the wrestling world, The Cauliflower Alley Club is planning to honor DeNucci with their Trainer’s Award at this year’s 55th Cauliflower Alley Club Reunion. The event was originally going to take place this past April in Las Vegas but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it has currently been rescheduled to the weekend of September 21 at The Gold Coast Casino. Other legends set to be honored are Madusa, Rey Mysterio Jr. & Jim Londos.
