Ex-WWE NXT Talent Wasn’t Shocked By Release, Reveals New Job

In 2024, Trey Bearhill found himself as one of several individuals let go from WWE NXT, as part of a series of reductions across both the developmental brand and WWE’s main team.

In a recently aired episode of the “Developmentally Speaking” podcast, Bearhill opened up about his departure from the franchise. Unsurprisingly, he confessed, he was not taken aback when the ax fell. He stated,

“The reality for me was, I was always aware…that any moment could be my last. So, I didn’t find it too shocking.”

“Before the initial round of dismissals when I was still part of the team, there were already colleagues who had appeared on TV and had disappeared. So, from early on, I realized that permanence was not guaranteed unless, from their perspective, I remained exactly where they wanted me to be. Still, it was somewhat of a surprise.”

Bearhill revealed his current occupation in car sales, although he remains hopeful about his ambition of hitting the big time as a pro-wrestler.

His last wrestling match occurred on March 2, 2024, where he was defeated by Tavion Heights at an NXT live event hosted in Jacksonville, Florida.
