On Booker T’s Hall of Fame podcast, previous WWE author Brian Gewirtz compared Sami Zayn’s Bloodline story to when Batista gave up Evolution back in 2005.
Gewirtz mentioned that the Zayn story has actually been taken on a weekly basis, comparable to Batista switching on Triple H. Gewirtz even more believed that wasn’t the case when Evolution switched on Randy Orton. He stated,
” The cool thing with Sami and with Roman and with The Usos and Heyman and now Kevin Owens and all that is it’s been gestating for rather a long time and they’re not resting on their laurels as far as like, ‘We do not require to advance the story today. We can simply have a three-segment match which will cover it’. The Orton thing, which you understand once again, chose, it was well, ‘Why is Triple H booting Orton out of Evolution? Since he has the title?’ Yep, law of the jungle. Old lion [is] envious of the young lion, and there’s fact to that however you might let that construct for a bit.”
