The world of professional wrestling has recently experienced a cross-pollination between WWE and TNA Wrestling. The unique partnership was activated when TNA Knockouts Champion, Jordynne Grace, made an unexpected appearance on the May 28th episode of WWE NXT, and subsequently stepped into the ring at NXT Battleground 2024.
This was followed by TNA’s Frankie Kazarian and Joe Hendry joining the fray in a battle royal during the June 18th episode of WWE NXT.
Further fanning the flames of collaboration, TNA Wrestling issued invites to WWE superstars. This led to Grace going toe-to-toe with Tatum Paxley, defending her Knockouts Title at TNA Against All Odds 2024. Adding to the spectacle, numerous WWE superstars graced TNA’s most recent TV tapings.
Behind-the-scenes gossip provided by Pwinsider reveals former TNA World Heavyweight Champion, Josh Alexander, and TNA ring announcer, Jade Chung, were spotted backstage at WWE Money In The Bank 2024, held on a Saturday evening.
The industry is buzzing with anticipation for more intermingling between WWE and TNA talents in the approaching weeks.
Naomi gave a glimpse into the backstage camaraderie with a picture featuring herself, alongside Alexander and Chung, which you can check out below:
