Evolve Streaming Three Nights Of Classic Events For Mania Week
EVOLVE is one of the countless companies whose plans were upended by the global coronavirus pandemic. While there aren’t any indie shows in Tampa this week, companies are doing their best to present something for their fans in this difficult time. Leading up to WrestleMania this weekend, they’re digging into the archives for three nights of classic events featuring current NXT and WWE talents.
Earlier tonight, Evolve 134 premiered on the promotion’s YouTube channel. This event, held in August of 2019, featured Drew Gulak defending his WWE Cruserweight Championship against Kushida, Austin Theory defending his EVOLVE Championship, and Shotzi Blackheart going ham against Brandi Lauren. EVOLVE promises two more nights of similar premieres. Tomorrow at 8PM EDT and Saturday at Noon, they will broadcast similar full shows. They’ve also uploaded other full shows in the last few weeks, including EVOLVE 125, featuring a pre-AEW Darby Allin and Kyle O’Reilly in the main event.
